Woodpecker Dream Body” [4:47] is made in collaboration with the woodpeckers of northern California and musician Sina Dehghani. During my stay at the Lucid Art Foundation residency, the woodpeckers were busy storing their nuts in the wall of the studio where I worked. As I was playing Sina’s music the birds started to tap in harmony. One day he came by and did a live jam with them.
